Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This meme was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list complete with one of our bloggers’ answers. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND post a comment on our post with a link to your Top Ten Tuesday post to share with us and all those who are participating. If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment

Top Ten Books I'd Like to See Made Into Movies

  1. Darkness becomes her by: Kelly Keaton~ I would love to see what can be done with this book set in a paranormal New Orleans.
  2. The Morganville vampire series by: Rachel Caine~ This book is set in a small town in Texas I would enjoy seeing how it comes to life.
  3. The Caster Chronicles by: Kami Garcia and Margret Stohl~ I can picture this one in my mind and would  want to see it on the big screen.
  4. Black Dagger brotherhood by: J.R Ward~ Who could resist this would have everything.. action and hot vampires.
  5. Shadow Walkers by: Brent Hartinger~  I think this could be an interesting concept for a movie, with the form of travel.
  6. The house of night series by: P.C &Kristen Cast ~ This movie would contain it all love, loss, action and mythical creatures.
  7. The forest of hands and teeth by Carrie Ryan ~ The whole living in a world were you have to spend all your time surviving and staying away from zombies who have destroyed the world would make for a good movie.
  8. Cryers Cross by:Lisa McMann ~ I think this would be a good indie film.
  9. Starfire Angels by: Melanie Niles ~ This is a different take on angels that also has some action and love.
  10. Hush Hush series by: Becca Fitzpatrick ~ This would have it all high school drama creepy guys with secrets love and plenty of action oh and mystery.

  1. I've got both Cryer's Cross and Forest of Hands and Teeth on my list - though I don't think I would be brave enough to see either as an actual movie :)

  2. I love the idea of the BDB becoming a movie, but where would they find men to play the roles? I can't imagine what actors fit the bill for the 6'9" (I think he's that tall) Wrath. But a girl can always hope.

  4. Even though I haven't read The Forest of Hands and Teeth yet, knowing that it's about zombies and the fact that I love zombies, I'd love to see it as a movie too.

  6. I am slightly creeped out/intrigued/disturbed/fascinated with Forest of Hands and Teeth because of the title, but I would probably watch the movie too!
