Dragon's oath is a House of Night Mini Series!!!

I am addicted to the House of night novels. I was sad when I learned that the series would be ending with the next couple of  books, but now we get venture further into the world of Tulsa with some our favorite characters as they take us back to a time before Zoey had us all mesmerized.  There are multiple people that want the series to end and feel that it is an on going babble, but who could get enough of a group of kids fighting for what they believe in.

Since the news just broke publicly, I had to rush this post so most of you would hear it here first and not flood my inbox with Is it true??? emails. Yes, it's true. And no, I could not be happier with how this came about and the people who are involved.

EXCLUSIVE: Universal Pictures and Strike Entertainment have acquired the Jay Asher novel 13 Reasons Why as a star vehicle for Selena Gomez. Strike's Eric Newman and Marc Abraham are producing with Mandy Teefey of July Moon Productions.

Jennifer O'Kieffe has been set to adapt the novel, about a shy California high school student who returns from school to find a box waiting on his doorstep. It contains seven cassette tapes recorded by Hanna Baker, the classmate he had a crush on. Before she committed suicide, Hannah sent the tapes to one classmate with instructions to pass them on to a list of students like a chain letter. The tapes explain to 13 people how they played a role in her death. The book was a bestseller when published in 2007 by the Penguin Books young adult imprint RazorBill. Strike's Kristel Laiblin is exec producer.

Gomez, who stars in the Disney Channel series The Wizards of Waverly Place, starred in the Tom Bezucha-directed Monte Carlo. She's repped by CAA.

The third book in the Hush Hush saga has now been titled!!!!!!!

At long last! I am thrilled to finally announce the title of the third book in the Hush, Hush saga! If you follow me on Twitter, or if you're a fan of my Facebook page, you've probably noticed there has been (just a little!) drama surrounding this title recently. Ever since I decided Tempest wasn't the right title for the book, I've been on the search for a worthy replacement. I spent weeks sorting through titles and, in the end, for one reason or another, none of them felt right.

I always thought the title of the third book would be loud— something a crescendo would build up to. And it made sense; the storyline of the third book is daring and twisty and oh so romantic. Which is why I was surprised to find, in the end, the title I chose isn't flashy or loud or culminating. Instead, it's a haunting word, quietly powerful, filled with mystery and beauty. A word that means to put doubt, fear and anxiety to rest. A word that is synonymous with stillness, secrecy and all that is forgotten.
