Books that do not grab my attention in the first few chapters tend to sit on the shelf and gather dust. As much as I do not want to admit it Vampire Academy is one of these "books", so I was certain that Bloodlines would to find its way back to the shelf. To my surprise the book peeked my interest instantly. Now for those of you who could not or have not read VA there will be parts of this book that will leave you incredibly confused, but you won’t have to put bloodlines to read VA as with most books this one won’t leave you in the dark. Richelle's characters have well defined personalities you get a little bit of everything from trouble makers to preps even annoying jocks. When you combine these characters with the magic mystery romance and friendship that is written with the pages you get a book that has everything today’s reader enjoys

  1. I can't wait to read this novel. Thanks for not giving any spoilers. I think it's going to be intriguing how Richelle Mead ties in old characters but with a different story line.
