Living Dead Girl Review

Publisher: Simon Pulse
Avaliable:  September 2, 2008

Synopsis: Once upon a time, I was a little girl who disappeared.
Once upon a time, my name was not Alice.
Once upon a time, I didn’t know how lucky I was.

When Alice was ten, Ray took her away from her family, her friends her life. She learned to give up all power, to endure all pain. She waited for the nightmare to be over.
Now Alice is fifteen and Ray still has her, but he speaks more and more of her death. He does not know it is what she longs for. She does not know he has something more terrifying than death in mind for her.
This is Alice’s story. It is one you have never heard, and one you will never, ever forget.

Alice use to be a happy girl, so full of life, till Ray a narcissistic pedofile enters her world. Taken from all she knows Alice is forced to endure endless pain, suffering, mental and physical abuse. Ray calls in "LOVE" but what it is; is disturbing and heartbreaking.
Elizabeth Scott takes readers into a place where the unimaginable happens. tragedy like that described with these pages is truly horrific. People like Ray live everywhere and it is hard to beleive that it can be the most unsuspecting person until you read this book.
The story will engulf you, the emotional aspect is over powering. You will want nothing more than to reach out and protect this young girl from the torture she  sustains at the hands of this monster. I could not put this book down I had an over whelming need to know the fate of this girl.

  1. Great review! I read this book when it first came out in one sitting while at Barnes and Noble. I usually pick out a pile of books, reading the first chapter of each and trying to find out which ones are coming home with me, but I couldn't put this book down.

  2. I really enjoyed this book, but it is very disturbing and haunting. I also like how it ended in a way that left it up to the reader to decide what actually happened.
