Follow Friday April 29

Happy Follow Friday everyone! Let me tell you a little bit about this HOP. Every friday or really Thursday evening we all get together and say HI!   On Follow Friday we have a Feature. Each week is a different feature from the book blogging community.

Our feature this week is...

Marla @ Starting the Next Chapter

Marla is the blogger behind Starting the Next Chapter. She features mostly YA of the paranormal romance and urban fantasy persuasion, though  recently  she has became interested in dystopian and steam punk. She also reads adult paranormal romance, though no  reviews have been done on her blog.  From time to time, however, she will read and review Jane Austen variations and sequels.  What can be said?  She's a huge fan!  Other favorite authors includeCassandra ClareJulie KagawaP.C. Cast (love her Partholon and Goddess Summoning series), and Charlotte Bronte. Her favorite books are: Jane Eyre;Sense and SensibilityPride and Prejudice; the Harry Potter series; the Iron Fey series; and Clockwork Angel.

She has been blogging in general for three years, but her book blog is a new adventure.  Started on February 22 and it just began its third month of existence. She started book blogging after answering one of the polls found on Goodreads.  The question was: "Do you write a book blog?" the answer, "No," at first, but then thought, "Well, why not?"  With a of love reading,  liking to write, and enjoying reading all of the different blogs in the book blogging community.  She decided to go for it and the rest, as they say, is history.

This weeks Question is.........Q. Keeping with the dystopian and apocalypse theme that seems to be running rampant on parajunkee.com, I have one very hard question for you: If you were stocking your bomb shelter, what books would you HAVE to include if you only had space for ten?

Answer: I would have to say
  1. The house of Night
  2. Morganville vampires
  3. Twilight
  4. Forest of Hands and Teeth
  5. Beautiful Creatures
  6. Dark Divine
  7. Darkness becomes her
  8. Hunger Games
  9. Numbers
  10. City of Glass
Happy Hopping and check out my giveaway for a chance to win Friendship on FIre

  1. Good job on picking ten books! Was it hard for you? I couldn't pick ten. I need at least 15, but that probably wouldn't be enough either, lol.

  3. Hi Kimberly!

Great picks! It looks like we have a bit of a similar taste in books. It was really hard to try to come up with just 10 books cause I felt like I was gonna be missing some of my favorites. I just want to say that you are really pretty too:)

I'm a new follower! My post can be seen on my blog at http://guiltypleasuresreviews.blogspot.com/2011/04/follow-friday-4-29-11.html
