Maggie O'Malley is a take no crap gets it done witch with spunk. Maggie works for the Hellion Guard, a supernatural FBI in Texas; it is on assignment that she encounters Declan, the new owner of a popular night spot for supernatural creatures. It is the portal in this club that has become of interest to the Mayans who intend to use the portal when they try to sacrifice a human girl in order to raise a god from the underworld.
This was the first book I read from this author. I was amazed. The main character has it all a no nonsense approach to life, she knows what she wants and will kick butt if you get in her way. I love that about a woman. I am no stranger to paranormal books but this was different for me I usually read vampire books so to read about demon and witches was exciting. This book gives the reader a bit of everything action, attitude, and steamy romance. A must read for anyone who enjoys a good paranormal read.
I haven't heard of this one before but it sounds exactly like something that I would like!
