Shade Review

Photobucket

published: May 2010

Synopsis:
Best. Birthday. Ever. At least, it was supposed
to be. With Logan's band playing a critical gig and Aura's plans for an intimate after-party, Aura knows it will be the most memorable night of her boyfriend's life. She never thought it would be his last.
Logan's sudden death leaves Aura devastated. He's gone.
Well, sort of.

This book was unlike any book I have read to date. I could not put this book down. From page one you feel like part of the crowd. The main character Aura, a post shifter who has been fighting with her boyfriend is ready to take her relationship to the next level, and decides that Logan's birthday is the perfect night. This would've have been the perfect birthday present had Logan not died. Now Aura must continue her relationship with the ghost of her dead boyfriend all while falling for a new class mate and thesis partner. This book will keep you wanting more. It is one of my favorite reads of the year. I cannot wait till the second book in this series come out!
