In fact, Harrison might be good as the crusty landlord by that time. I find having images in sight really helps inspire me.

Sometimes I choose photos of celebrities especially if they have played a role similar to that of the character. Other times I find random photos from the internet, magazines, or newspapers. That way I don;t have any pre-conceived notions and can craft the character just the way I want them to be.

Best of luck on the release of your new book.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14957568844802845667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8387775171025686469.post-7226948049451861882011-06-13T20:33:29.177-07:002011-06-13T20:33:29.177-07:00I rarely have more than a vague idea of what my ch...I rarely have more than a vague idea of what my characters look like. Once I tried doing a collage to help me with my plot, and the people I chose for the hero and heroine were models in magazine ads. The hero wasn't even looking at the camera, but there was something in his body language that made me say, "That's the one!" It was his vibe rather than his looks that appealed to me.Barbara Monajemhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06740868750916582900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8387775171025686469.post-39906539727852410472011-06-13T20:30:15.687-07:002011-06-13T20:30:15.687-07:00I have to cast my hero, heroine and villain(s) bef...I have to cast my hero, heroine and villain(s) before I write or in the brainstorming stage otherwise I can't really get into the characters. My current manuscript started out with one actor as my hero and no matter what I did I just didn't like him in that role. So I went on my own version of a "casting call." My current hero would be played by Paul Walker and the heroine would be Anne Hathaway.

For the record, Rosalie, Jensen Ackles is HOT and don't you can't be embarrassed until your heroes start coming from reality shows...like my next 2 heroes!

Karen, I never used to like Hotch much, but he's definitely grown on me as a hero. I generally don't pick my characters until the story is well developed, and then usually they are models. However, if I have to pick celebrity actors and actresses, I'm partial toward Bollywood celebrities. I find them gorgeous - male and female both and sensuous too.

Ushma w/a Ash GlenUshmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00402853048782634391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8387775171025686469.post-34115562652393481742011-06-13T20:22:16.831-07:002011-06-13T20:22:16.831-07:00It's always hard to cast your own books!!!
